Build a statement table around a truly substantial solid wood base. This machine-turned table pedestal is handcrafted by Seeds & Sawdust, LLC in Columbus, Kansas from solid Knotty Pine.

Featuring a bold turned profile with an approximately 14" center diameter, this pedestal has the size and visual weight needed for large round dining tables, entry tables, and other custom furniture projects. The detailed lower profile and wide mounting disc give the base a traditional furniture-inspired look while allowing you to add your own tabletop and finish.

Each pedestal is supplied unfinished, ready to be stained, painted, or clear coated to complement your project.

Made From Real Solid Wood

Our pedestals are made from Knotty Pine, selected for its natural character and traditional appearance. Knots, grain variations, color variations, mineral marks, small checks, and other natural characteristics should be expected. Because these are made from real wood, no two pedestals will look exactly alike.

The pedestal is constructed from laminated solid wood sections before being turned. Glue lines and individual wood sections may be visible, particularly when using a clear or light-colored finish. This is a normal part of the construction of a large solid wood turning and is not considered a defect.

Handcrafted in Kansas

Each pedestal is produced in our own woodshop by Seeds & Sawdust, LLC. From preparing the solid wood blank through turning and final sanding, these bases are made by skilled craftsmen in Columbus, Kansas.
